Job summary

Black Rock Coffee Bar, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Lead in Riverside, CA to support daily store operations and lead the team on shift. The role focuses on sales, people, operations, and cost balancing (SPOC) while maintaining high standards of service and adherence to policies.

The position requires leading by example, mentoring team members, and ensuring a positive, fast-paced environment. Expect 40 hours weekly with on-bar duties and opportunities for growth and bonuses.

Qualifications

• Experience in fast-paced retail environments.
• Able to work 40 hours per week.
• Must have been employed at Black Rock Coffee Bar for at least 6 months unless otherwise approved.

Responsibilities

• Lead and communicate with team while upholding company values and policies.
• Model exceptional customer service on shift and ensure quick, friendly service.
• Plan coverage for absences and ensure meal/rest periods per state requirements.
• Assist in hiring, onboarding, and training processes.
• Complete off-bar leadership tasks including timecards and cash management.
• Assist with inventory management and product runs; submit mileage reimbursement.
