Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital is seeking an Assistant Store Director to oversee the Grocery Department under the Store Director in Hawaii. In the Store Director’s absence, you assume full responsibility for store operations and drive department performance.

The role emphasizes supervising department managers, controlling expenses, ensuring compliance with regulations, and maintaining a safe, customer-focused environment, including liquor department oversight as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Food handling license required.
• First Aid/ CPR/ AED certification required.
• Forklift operator certification required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, develop, train and direct department managers.
• In the absence of the Store Director, approve store operations.
• Promote efficient customer service.
• Maintain community relationships and partner with businesses.
• Ensure compliance with government regulations.
• Control expenses within the store.
• Ensure good communication among associates and staff.
• Provide training and guidance to management and staff.
• Maintain a harmonious, positive environment.
• Provide a safe and sanitary environment for customers and associates.
• Oversee liquor department operations.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures.
