Job summary

moser's is seeking an Assistant Store Director at our Rangeline location in Columbia, MO. You will help lead daily operations, develop the team, drive sales, and create an outstanding shopping experience in a fast-paced grocery setting.

This full-time, on-site role offers ownership through our ESOP, competitive weekly pay, leadership development, and opportunities to advance into a Store Director position.

Qualifications

• Experience in grocery, retail, or store management preferred.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills.
• Knowledge of retail operations, inventory control, and merchandising.
• Basic understanding of financial operations and reporting.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable using technology for scheduling, inventory, and reporting.
• Flexible full-time availability (days, evenings, weekends, holidays).

Responsibilities

• Support daily store operations including sales, staffing, merchandising, and customer service
• Assist with inventory management, ordering, and product displays
• Help supervise, train, and develop team members
• Monitor sales performance, store budgets, and operational efficiency
• Resolve customer concerns and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction
• Support compliance with company policies, food safety, and health regulations
• Assist with workforce scheduling and employee relations
• Operate store equipment including registers and inventory systems
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment
