Job summary

Loews Hotels & Co at Universal Orlando is seeking an Assistant In-Room Dining Manager to support the In-Room Dining Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations, supervising staff, coordinating meal delivery, and maintaining service standards for an exceptional guest experience.

You will help with scheduling, inventory, guest satisfaction, and training, while ensuring efficiency and profitability, especially during peak hours and overnight shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year leadership experience in Food & Beverage.
• Strong knowledge of in-room dining operations, food safety, and service standards.
• Experience in high-volume F&B operations preferred.
• Familiarity with POS systems and financial reporting tools.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the in-room dining team, including order takers, delivery attendants, and captains.
• Monitor food preparation to ensure quality and presentation standards.
• Coordinate with the kitchen to accommodate special requests and dietary needs.
• Oversee shift operations during peak hours and overnight shifts.
• Address guest complaints professionally and resolve issues quickly.
• Assist with recruiting, onboarding, and training of staff.
• Schedule staff shifts to ensure optimal service coverage.
• Provide coaching and performance feedback to staff.
• Maintain inventory levels and assist with purchasing as needed.
• Ensure health, safety, and sanitation regulations are followed.
