WHITEFISH SCHOOL DISTRICT 44 Whitefish High School - Whitefish, MT is seeking an Assistant Speech and Debate Coach to support the Head Coach in developing students' skills and competitive readiness. Emphasis on safety, teamwork, and adherence to MHSA and NFHS rules.

The role requires coaching experience, a high school diploma, and First Aid/ CPR with AED certification. The candidate must be prepared to participate in required MHSA clinics and maintain program integrity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; MHSA requirements must be met.
• Current First Aid and CPR with AED training; ability to obtain MFEA membership.
• Complete NFHS Coaches Education Training and MHSA sport/activity rules clinics on time.

Responsibilities

• Instruct and coach fundamental speech and debate skills.
• Coordinate practice schedules and assist the Head Coach.
• Assist with home tournaments and program logistics.
• Supervise students and ensure safety and discipline.
• Maintain equipment and participation records.
