Job summary

Great Falls Public Schools is seeking a dedicated Speech and Debate Coach for Great Falls High School to lead students, manage travel, and oversee the team’s season. The role involves coordinating a coaching staff of four assistants, organizing fundraising activities, and ensuring smooth logistics for competitions.

You will travel to 6-8 overnight meets around the state and host or co-host one meet annually. Teaching endorsements are preferred.

Qualifications

• Manage a travel budget for school activities and events.
• Coordinate coaching staff and volunteers for the debate team.
• Handle paperwork collection and filing for the program.
• Organize and manage yearly fundraisers for the team.
• Order annual supplies for team operations.
• Travel to 6-8 overnight meets around the state.
• Host or co-host one speech and debate meet per year.
• Coach students in speech and/or debate for at least 8 hours weekly.

• Oversee the GFHS speech and debate team operations and logistics.
• Lead coaching staff and ensure practice plans and meets readiness.
