Job Overview

Assistant Spa Director at Chatham Bars Inn, part of Pyramid Global Hospitality. Responsible for assisting the Spa Director in managing the operation and staff.

Responsibilities

• Managing day-to-day activities of the spa.
• Promote teamwork and motivation through daily communication.
• Ensure prompt response and follow up to guest’s needs.
• Assist in hiring, planning, scheduling, and organizing staff to ensure proper coverage.
• Follow through with new employees to ensure proper paperwork is complete and guide them through the orientation process.
• Responsible for managing and monitoring Spa Attendants.
• Manages all aspects of inventory to include purchasing, maintaining retail and back-bar products as well as monthly reporting.
• Assist in managing the spa budget, payroll and labor costs.
• Ensure that Chatham Bars Inn Standards are adhered to including Forbes, Preferred, and AAA.
• Ensure that all staff are properly trained and that they have the tools and products to effectively carry out their daily tasks.
• Communicate and enforce policies and procedures.
• Oversee the development and implementation of internal training.
• Assist in the design and formulation of protocols (Standard Operating Procedures).
• Schedule and organize staff treatment rooms to ensure proper coverage and optimal use.
• Point of contact for all Spa parties and groups.
• Additional duties requested by the Spa Director.
