Job summary

Stevens Institute of Technology is seeking an Assistant Softball Coach to support a competitive NCAA Division III program. You will assist with plan execution, recruiting, performance analysis, and daily operations while fostering an inclusive, high‑performing team culture.

The role involves collaboration with the Head Coach, compliance with NCAA rules, and mentoring student‑athletes in leadership and academics. This is a full-time, on-site position in Hoboken, NJ.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • Experience with recruiting, player development, video analysis, and data-informed decision-making preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning, organization, and execution of the softball program with short- and long-term goals.
  • Analyze team and opponent performance via video review and statistics to inform game prep.
  • Collaborate on practice planning, lineup development, and game strategy.
  • Monitor student-athlete eligibility and academic progress with coaching staff.
  • Assist with travel, scheduling, meals, and resource allocation for efficiency.
  • Support fundraising and engagement efforts to strengthen program visibility.
