Job summary

Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, New Jersey, invites applications for the part-time position of Assistant Club Ultimate Frisbee Coach. The role supports the growth of club student-athletes and fosters an inclusive, competitive team culture, while aligning with Club Sports policies.

The Assistant Coach will help plan practices, develop players, coordinate travel for away events, and work evenings and weekends as needed, reporting to the Director of Campus Recreation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Previous coaching or competitive playing experience in Ultimate Frisbee preferred.
• Collegiate coaching or club sports experience strongly preferred.
• First Aid, CPR, and AED certification required or obtainable on employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Head Coach with managing all aspects of a competitive Club Ultimate Frisbee program.
• Plan and attend team practices, competitions, and tournaments as needed.
• Assist with player development by teaching fundamental and advanced Ultimate Frisbee skills, strategy, and sportsmanship.
• Help organize the team's competition schedule and coordinate travel logistics for away events.
• Promote a positive, collaborative, and inclusive environment that supports student leadership and team success.
• Ensure compliance with all Stevens Institute of Technology Club Sports policies and procedures.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Director of Campus Recreation.
