Job summary

Davenport Central High School is seeking a dedicated soccer coach to lead and develop a competitive program. You will teach fundamentals, plan practices, and mentor student-athletes while coordinating with school staff and booster groups.

The role requires Iowa Coaching Authorization or Iowa Teaching License with Coaching Endorsement, and prior success at the state level is desired. Online application with resume and references is requested.

Qualifications

• Must hold Iowa Coaching Authorization or Iowa Teaching License with Coaching Endorsement.
• Experience with competition/success at state level is desired.
• Complete online application with resume and 3 letters of reference.
• Strong interpersonal skills with diverse students.

Responsibilities

• Teach and coach soccer fundamentals and techniques.
• Develop and maintain a strong soccer program.
• Motivate student-athletes on the court and in the classroom.
• Communicate with administration, staff, students and booster club.
• Support the strength and conditioning coordinator for proper training.
• Provide supervision before, during and after practices/matches.
