Job summary

Davenport Community Schools West High School in Davenport, Iowa is seeking a Girls Soccer Coach to lead the program, teach fundamentals, and motivate student‑athletes toward excellence on and off the field. The coach will collaborate with administration, staff, boosters, and the strength/conditioning coordination team; supervise practices, assist with feeder programs, and attend coaching clinics as needed.

Qualified candidates must hold a valid Iowa Coaching Authorization or Iowa Teaching

Qualifications

• Ability to teach and coach soccer fundamentals to youth.
• Ability to motivate student-athletes in academics and athletics.
• Strong communication with administration, staff, students, and booster club.
• Commitment to program development and high character.

Responsibilities

• Teach and coach soccer fundamentals and techniques.
• Develop and maintain a competitive soccer program.
• Promote West High School programs and participate in booster activities.
• Collaborate with Athletic Boosters and athletics staff.
• Assist in feeder programs and youth camps.
