Job summary

Randstad CPE is recruiting for an Assistant Site Manager to join a premier North East-based residential housebuilder. The role is based in Northumberland/North East sites, with a full UK driving licence and the potential for a strong bonus and benefits package.

You will work closely with the Site Manager to supervise daily activities, drive build progression, ensure NHBC/LABC compliance, and support customer handovers.

Qualifications

• Experience as Assistant Site Manager in residential housebuilding.
• Strong knowledge of timber frame and traditional masonry methods.
• Commitment to NHBC/LABC quality targets.
• Excellent organisation and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Daily Site Supervision: assist the Site Manager with subcontractor activities, plant and materials.
• Quality Assurance: conduct stage-by-stage inspections to NHBC/LABC standards.
• Health & Safety: enforce site safety policies and run toolbox talks.
• Program Execution: track build schedules and help resolve bottlenecks to hit handover milestones.
• Customer Care: support pre-handover inspections and snagging.
