Job description

Position Overview: Provides management assistance in a company-owned Integrated Business Solutions (IBS) location or locations. Develops quality personnel, sets high performance standards, and utilizes company training resources to recognize employee efforts and accomplishments. Responsible for inventory protection, asset management, operational issues, and ensuring overall site cleanliness. Fosters positive relationships with customers and staff through meetings and open discussions.

Responsibilities
  1. Ensure customer satisfaction and manage inventory/ROI.
  2. Utilize available tools for tracking value-added items for customers.
  3. Maintain and develop relationships with local non-NAPA vendors.
  4. Respond promptly to customer inquiries regarding purchases and services.
  5. Understand and comply with all contract requirements and customer expectations.
  6. Collaborate with company and customer management to develop strategies for the IBS program.
  7. Manage the TAMS buy-out PO process and ensure proper use of line codes.
  8. Source parts for customers using approved IBS vendors.
  9. Meet service level goals as per customer agreements.
  10. Minimize inventory shrinkage through proper processes.
  11. Ensure timely and accurate receipt and storage of merchandise.
  12. Create a safe work environment, including timely hazmat training.
  13. Comply with company and customer policies.
  14. Barcode inventory and organize stock appropriately.
  15. Return non-company excess inventory.
  16. Work with the Site Manager on reconciliation and vendor negotiations.
  17. Follow all IBS policies and complete training.
  18. Perform tasks assigned by the Site Manager.
Qualifications
  1. HS Diploma or equivalent required; technical or college degree a plus.
  2. ASE certification within twelve months.
  3. Ability to manage and delegate to a team of two or more.
  4. Strong communication and leadership skills.
  5. Experience in the automotive aftermarket industry preferred.
  6. High character, integrity, and a customer-focused mindset.
  7. Self-motivated with problem-solving skills.
  8. Proficient in Microsoft Office, internet research, POS systems, and customer fleet management software.
  9. Physical ability to handle heavy equipment and work in a fleet shop environment.
