Job summary

Trellis Mgmt in Minneapolis is seeking an experienced Assistant Site Manager to join our team. You will support the Site Manager of a 169-unit community, ensuring residents have a safe, clean, and functional place to live. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of property management experience and strong customer service, with a willingness to learn.

A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle are required. Yardi/Rent Café experience is a plus, and we offer a full benefits suite.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of property management experience, including leasing.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license, insurance, and access to a personal vehicle.
• Experience with Yardi or Rent Café is a plus.

Responsibilities

The Role:

You will assist the Site Manager of a 169-unit apartment community in Minneapolis, ensuring our residents have a safe, clean, and functional place to live. The ideal candidate must have strong customer service skills and a willingness to learn new tasks. Your day-to-day will involve:

• Rent Collection: Receive and deposit rent payments & initiate late rent notices
• Leasing: Work with applicants from tours through move-in
• Certifications: Process paperwork in accordance with subsidy programs
• Work Orders: Monitor work orders to ensure resident satisfaction with issues

Requirements

What We're Looking For:

• Experience: 2+ years of property management experience that included leasing, Section 8/42 preferred.
• Skills: Excellent customer service, administrative, clerical, verbal and written communication skills, along with strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize as well as multi-task.
• Licensing: Valid Driver's License, insurance and a personal vehicle are a must.
• Software Programs: Yardi & Rent Café experience a plus.
