Job summary

DEAN Adventure Camps, LLC. is seeking an on-site Assistant Site Director for the DC region. The role focuses on operations, logistics, and behavior support, guiding a large team to deliver safe, engaging camp experiences for 200+ campers weekly.

You will partner with the Site Director to manage schedules, communications, and program coverage, while mentoring a 40+ team. Immunizations, First Aid/CPR, and physical readiness are required.

Qualifications

• 2 years of leadership experience in summer camps or youth programs.
• Ability to coach counselors and provide real-time feedback.
• Must maintain immunizations and have First Aid & CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily camp operations, logistics, and safety.
• Coach 40+ seasonal team members and model calm leadership.
• Coordinate family updates and maintain professional communication.
• Mentor staff, manage transitions, and ensure camper well‑being.
• Support with behavior and emotional needs of campers.
