DEAN Camps is seeking a PA Assistant Site Director of Operations, Culture, & Engagement for a full-time, on-site seasonal role in Haverford, PA. You will help build a vibrant camp culture, mentor a 40+ person team, and coordinate camp-wide events across a 200-acre campus.

Ideal candidates bring 2 years in summer camp leadership and comfort with tools like Slack, Google Workspace, and Airtable. The role includes weekend coverage and active outdoor work with immunizations and CPR/First Aid

Qualifications

• Experience in summer camp leadership, education, recreation, or youth development with 150+ children per week.

Responsibilities

• Create a positive camp culture fostering a kind, inclusive team environment and collaboration for growth.
• Lead themed weeks and engagement events with decorations, music, and camper activities.
• Support morning assemblies by setting the tone with cheers, team spotlights, and camper recognition aligned with DEAN values.
• Mentor team members, mediate conflicts, and model calm, confident leadership.
• Communicate clearly with 40+ seasonal team members to ensure cross-department collaboration.
• Engage directly with campers across activities and ensure a safe, positive environment.
• Oversee carpool and parent interactions to create a welcoming experience and energize Fridays.
