DEAN Camps, LLC. is seeking an Assistant Site Director of Operations, Logistics & Behavioral Support to ensure safe, smooth camp operations. You will lead daily logistics, oversee supplies, and mentor a large team of counselors to deliver engaging experiences for campers across a 200+ acre campus.

This role emphasizes strong communication, rapid problem-solving, and a hands-on leadership style in both indoor and outdoor activities, with a focus on behavioral support and family communications.

Qualifications

• Leadership & team management experience in camp or youth programs.
• Ability to mentor counselors and support staff.
• Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills.
• Comfort leading activities and operations in outdoor settings.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily camp operations and logistics for a safe, organized environment.
• Draft and share updates with families; uphold caring, consistent communications.
• Coach 40+ seasonal staff; de-escalate camper incidents with empathy.
• Model calm leadership; reinforce behavioral expectations and proactive strategies.
• Maintain logs and reports; support smooth transitions and daily activities.
• Be visibly engaged; support transitions, groups, and schedule adherence.
• Mentor staff to uphold kindness, reliability, and camper support.
