Job summary

Bellevue Public Schools Foundation Kids’ Time seeks an Assistant Site Director to help lead staff and ensure a safe, engaging environment for children, in alignment with DHHS licensing requirements.

The role partners with the Site Director on operations, safety, and program standards, including attendance, billing, and staff coaching. Flexibility in AM/PM shifts and evenings is required; prior childcare leadership experience is valued.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 19 years.
• Education: High school diploma or GED.
• Two years of experience with children in structured settings or 6 credit hours of DHHS-approved child development training; CDA/Associate/Bachelor in related field.
• CPR & First Aid certification required or obtainable.
• Background checks completed prior to hire (state and FBI).
• Reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee staff and children at designated Kids’ Time locations to maintain safe, engaging environments.
• Partner with Site Director on daily operations, safety, and program standards.
• Ensure DHHS licensing compliance and accurate attendance records.
• Support billing processes, family ledgers, and communications with families.
• Contribute to Summer Camp and out-of-school programming planning.
