Job summary

The YMCA of Greater Boston is seeking an Assistant Site Director for the North Reading location to support daily after-school operations and activities for children. Under the Site Director, you will help prepare programs, lead groups in learning and play, and reinforce YMCA values across staff and participants.

You will interact with families, coordinate with staff, attend trainings, and contribute to a safe, engaging environment that promotes healthy lifestyle choices, social responsibility,

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age and have a passion for working with and nurturing children.
• Experience in youth programs, camp settings or related field.
• Must demonstrate cultural sensitivity and effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Support daily After School Operations under the Site Director.
• Lead activities, plan daily programs and supervise groups of children.
• Maintain attendance, roster accuracy and safe supervision of activities.
• Communicate with parents and staff, and assist with events and trainings.
• Uphold YMCA values and safety protocols in all interactions.
