Job summary
Strickland Brothers 10 Minute Oil Change in Charlotte, NC is seeking an Assistant Shop Manager to oversee daily operations, ensure on-time opening/closing, and deliver exceptional customer service. You will support the store manager, train staff, and help maintain a safe, high-performing environment.
Eligible for a monthly commission and bonus program, with potential to earn an additional $1.50–$2.00 per hour through bonuses.
Qualifications
- Experience managing daily shop operations or a small team.
- Ability to uphold safety and health regulations.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Familiarity with cash handling and inventory management.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily shop operations, including timely opening and closing on manager’s days off.
- Provide an exceptional customer experience and maintain high review ratings.
- Assist the store manager in all aspects of store management.
- Monitor and train new employees.
- Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations.
- Maintain a clean and visually appealing store environment.
- Communicate effectively using Microsoft Outlook and Teams.
- Handle cash and inventory management.
- Assist in monitoring and tracking shop performance goals.
