Monarch Casino Resort Spa in Black Hawk, Colorado is seeking a Poker Assistant Shift Manager to lead poker room operations during day shifts. You will supervise staff, manage guest service, handle jackpots, and ensure compliance with gaming rules.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year dealing experience, strong communication, and the ability to maintain accuracy with gaming reports. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, 401(k) and growth opportunities in a premier AAA Four Diamond resort.

Our focus is on maintaining lasting relationships with our guests and our community, ensuring that every interaction is warm and welcoming.Responsibilities:Protect company assets.Maintain an accurate bank and ensure all assets are guarded and protected at all times.Manage, direct, and supervise all personnel on a shift-to-shift basis.Evaluate business levels and maintain appropriate staffing while maximizing labor and minimizing payroll expense.Fulfill all guest service needs, including host, cashier, verification, and payment of jackpots and bonus hands.Maintain accurate records for all daily promotions.Generate player cards, comp slips, and ensure accurate player tracking.Take and place food orders with the necessary follow-up to ensure that the order arrives on time and is accurate.Monitor service standards of food and beverage personnel to ensure the established guest service standards are met by those departments.Maintain payroll records, protect and control all department keys and assets.Other related duties including but not limited to complying with and understanding the following: Colorado Limited Gaming Act, Colorado Gaming Rules and Regulations, Colorado Internal Control Minimum Procedures.
