Knightvest Residential seeks an Assistant Service Manager for Seagrove in Conroe, TX to support daily maintenance operations, manage service requests, make-readies, and assist the Service Manager with workflow. You’ll help ensure apartments and common areas are move-in ready, and deliver a safe, well-maintained, welcoming environment.

This resident-facing role requires hands-on trade experience, strong communication with tenants and team, and the ability to coordinate vendors.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in multi-family property maintenance.
• Hands-on experience with plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and appliance repairs.
• Ability to communicate within the team and residents for customer service.
• EPA Section 608 Type II or Universal Certification required.
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) preferred or able to certify within 90 days.
• HVAC experience preferred; CAMT preferred.
• Must own personal tools.
• Must be able to work on-call after hours for emergencies.
• Experience with OneSite, RealPage, or ALN preferred.
• Knowledge of state, local, and federal Fair Housing laws.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Internet Explorer) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support Daily Maintenance Operations and manage service requests, make-ready apartments, and projects.
• Prepare market-ready apartments with painting, repairs, cleaning, and housekeeping to meet standards.
• Maintain grounds and common areas, including trash removal and cleaning.
• Manage inventory and organize the maintenance shop and MSDS manuals.
• Ensure property standards and safety compliance; report violations.
• Coordinate vendors and service requests with the Service Manager.
