Essential Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair our community’s plumbing, electrical, appliances, carpentry, and painting needs. On-the-job training will be provided.
• Be a creative problem solver, attentive to detail, manage time effectively, and learn quickly.
• Respond promptly to service requests, collaborating with teammates to prioritize and resolve issues, building resident trust and satisfaction.
• Monitor the make-ready schedule, oversee apartment turnovers including painting, cleaning, and repairs.
• Perform preventive maintenance to extend equipment lifespan and reduce costly repairs.
• Conduct daily property inspections to ensure cleanliness, safety, and curb appeal.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of hands-on general maintenance experience
• Flexible schedule availability, including weekends
• Rotating on-call duties for after-hours emergencies
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• EPA license preferred; EPA Universal or HVAC certification required. Hilltop Residential will cover the cost for certification if other requirements are met.
