Essential Responsibilities:

• Repair and maintain community facilities, including plumbing, electrical, appliances, carpentry, and painting. On-the-job training will be provided.
• Be creative and a problem solver, attentive to detail, manage time effectively, and learn quickly.
• Respond promptly to service requests, collaborate with team members, and prioritize tasks to ensure resident satisfaction.
• Monitor apartment vacancies and initiate the turnover process, including painting, cleaning, and repairs.
• Perform preventive maintenance to prolong equipment lifespan and reduce costly repairs.
• Inspect the property daily for cleanliness and safety, maintaining curb appeal.

Requirements:

• At least 1 year of hands-on general maintenance experience
• Flexible schedule, including availability on weekends
• Rotating on-call duties for after-hours emergencies
• Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation
• EPA license preferred; certification required for the role. Hilltop will cover the cost for certification if other requirements are met.
