H-E-B is seeking an energetic Hourly Seafood Assistant Manager to lead the Seafood Department, coach Partners, and coordinate day-to-day operations. You will focus on customer service, merchandising, and department performance while ensuring SOPs and safety standards are met.

Responsibilities

• Spends the majority of time using independent judgment making employment-related and business decisions, or effectively recommending such decisions, including product- and department-related strategies, hiring, promoting, disciplining, suspending, discharging, rewarding, or otherwise engaging in resolving Partner-related matters
• Assists department Partners with their duties; coaches / trains, / evaluates as needed
• Holds Partners accountable for following SOPs
• Prepares work schedules, orders product, controls inventory, monitors department budget and payroll
• Completes / distributes all required reports and paperwork so accounting statements accurately reflect departmental performance
• Complies with SOPs and department / Loss Prevention procedures to minimize shrink and residual inventory
• Executes merchandising programs; drives sales by merchandising appropriate variety and quantity of products daily
• Monitors / accountable for the department's financial performance
• Monitors financial records and inventory levels to help maximize sales, profit, and meet metrics and budget goals
• Researches / analyzes potential or existing process breakdowns; proactively works with necessary Partners to identify and resolve root cause
• Uses appropriate H-EB systems to determine the best opportunities to drive sales
• Maintains the highest levels of customer service through personal example, SOP compliance, and accountability
• Ensures compliance with federal, state, and H-EB regulations, policies, and standards for product / food safety and sanitation

As an Hourly Seafood Assistant Manager, you'll oversee Partners and day-to-day direction and coordination of a Store's Seafood Department.
