Job summary

Hair Cuttery in Raleigh, NC is seeking an Assistant Salon Manager who blends cutting and client service with leadership to guide a dynamic team. You’ll manage front-of-house flow, coach stylists, and uphold a vibrant guest journey in a fast-paced salon.

You’ll serve as the right hand to the Salon Leader, oversee scheduling, performance, and adherence to standards, and contribute to a profitable, positive salon culture. This is a full-time leadership role with growth potential.

Qualifications

• Current Cosmetology license for the applying state.
• Full-time leadership role (minimum 40 hours per week).
• Ability to stand long hours and perform all salon services with precision.
• Strong communication and team-building skills; basic math for inventory and cash.
• Bring personal equipment daily.

Responsibilities

• Lead the floor and manage daily operations, from appointment book to guest experience.
• Coach & mentor stylists using the IGROW model to reach goals.
• Keep the salon clean and compliant with State Board and OSHA standards.
• Market locally with partnerships and campaigns to keep chairs filled and brand buzzing.
