Job summary

West Coast Tanning, Inc. is seeking enthusiastic, service-oriented individuals for entry-level sales roles in a fast-paced salon environment. You will learn product knowledge, assist customers with tanning services and retail items, and participate in goal-oriented contests and training programs.

Starting pay is $18 per hour, with a clear path to commission, bonus opportunities, and ongoing training. A team-focused culture, flexible scheduling including nights and weekends, and growth

Qualifications

• High school diploma, or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to stand, bend, walk for long periods of time, for 7 hours per day.
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds without assistance.
• Reliable transportation, flexible availability including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Meeting sales goals measured daily/weekly/monthly.
• Assists with daily store manager admin work.
• Assists with training new hire sales associates.
• Assists with holding team members accountable to standard policies and sales expectations.
• Consults with customers in a professional, upbeat manner.
• Educate customers on safe tanning practices and retail items.
• Maintain a clean and organized salon.
• Opening/closing business.
• Daily administrative paperwork, and goal tracking.
• Walk customers to their rooms and teach them how to use the tanning equipment when they have questions or are first time users.
