Job summary

Hair Cuttery Family of Brands in Chesapeake, VA is seeking an Assistant Salon Manager (ASL) to lead daily operations, mentor stylists, and keep guests happy.

You’ll work as the right hand to the Salon Leader, manage the schedule, support service and retail goals, and help create a positive, productive salon culture. This full-time role requires a Cosmetology license, stamina to stand all day, strong communication and math skills, and a readiness to grow as a leader.

Qualifications

• Current Cosmetology license for the state where applying.
• Full-time leadership role (minimum 40 hours per week).
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform salon services with precision.
• Strong attitude, good communication, and team leadership potential.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations on the floor and manage the appointment book.
• Coach and mentor stylists to achieve goals and growth.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety standards, and compliance with state rules.
