Job summary

SmartStyle Hair Salon, operating inside Walmart stores, seeks an Assistant Salon Leader to oversee daily operations and ensure exceptional service delivery. With 75+ salons across 11 states, you’ll join a team that values leadership, growth, and strong client satisfaction.

Role includes delivering hair services, driving sales, and maintaining high standards while working within a fast-paced retail environment. Leadership support and ongoing training are provided.

Qualifications

• Valid and current cosmetology license.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage clients and staff alike.
• A passion for the beauty industry and staying updated on trends and techniques.
• Ability to provide exceptional customer service and consistently perform quality services.
• A team player with strong leadership qualities.
• Ability to multitask and work at a fast pace while demonstrating good judgment and time management skills.
• Communicate effectively with salon team, peers, supervisors, Wal-Mart staff, vendors, and customers.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays (as needed).
• The position may require working alone in the salon.
