SmartStyle Hair Salon, a Yellowhammer Salon Group partner, seeks an Assistant Salon Leader in Florence, AL to oversee daily operations and ensure exceptional service delivery in our salon. The Assistant Salon Leader is responsible for delivering the full range of hair services and supporting the Salon Leader in achieving salon goals.

You will lead a team, demonstrate strong communication, and ensure excellent customer experiences while managing schedules, expenses, and performance.

Qualifications

• Valid and current cosmetology license is required.
• Strong time management and prioritization skills for a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication with clients and staff to deliver great service.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service while providing the full range of hair care services to clients.
• Demonstrate strong technical ability and consistently update skills with trends.
• Lead the team to achieve sales and service goals while maintaining quality standards.
• Assist the Salon Leader in daily operations and scheduling to meet business needs.
• Ensure the salon environment is welcoming and client-focused, resolving issues promptly.
• Manage expenses and administrative tasks as required, while upholding brand standards.
• Help market the salon and grow the business with effective customer engagement.
• Coordinate with Walmart staff and vendors to ensure smooth operations.
• Motivate staff to deliver top-tier service during evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Maintain productivity and model professional behavior in all interactions.
