Job summary

Sun Tan City - Chaffin/Bruner Group is seeking motivated leaders to join its management team as Assistant Salon Director. You will manage tanning consultants and drive store performance, delivering exceptional client service while upholding high operational standards.

The role requires strong leadership, customer service and sales skills, with a background in retail management or team leadership preferred. A fast-paced environment and flexible schedule including nights and weekends are typical.

Qualifications

• College education preferred, but not required.
• Management and/or Sales experience preferred, but not required.
• Basic Computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to manage effectively in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple situations.
• Knowledge of client service techniques and operational practices.
• Problem-solving and organizational/planning skills.
• Strong leadership skills with ability to coach and mentor while knowing supervisory practices.
• Team-building skills.
• Ability to prioritize and delegate.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage daily operations of the salon in a fast-paced environment.
• Lead by example in creating a client-centric experience and meeting personal sales expectations.
• Maintain a professional and impeccably clean salon environment.
• Establishes clear goals and objectives for Team Members.
• Provide coaching, training, and feedback to improve Team Members’ daily performance.
• Generate sales reports, maintain inventory, and assist with other Salon Director functions.
• Assist the Salon Director in controlling top line revenue and expenses.
• Maintain proper staffing levels to ensure maximum productivity and customer service while controlling labor costs.
• Possess flexibility to work nights, Saturdays and Sundays as required for coverage.
• Candidate should expect to work five days per week, ~40 hours.
