Job summary

Sun Tan City seeks an Assistant Salon Director to maintain a high-energy, client-centric environment and drive store performance. You will supervise Tanning Consultants, lead by example, and accountable for delivering exceptional service while exceeding productivity goals.

The role requires strong leadership, coaching abilities, and a focus on operational excellence, with flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• College education preferred, but not required.
• Management and/or Sales experience preferred, but not required.
• Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook) required.
• Strong leadership and coaching abilities are essential.
• Ability to prioritize, delegate, and supervise teams.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage daily operations of the salon in a fast-paced environment.
• Lead by example in client-centric service and meeting personal sales expectations.
• Maintain a professional, impeccably clean salon environment.
• Establish clear goals and objectives for Team Members.
• Provide coaching, training, and feedback to improve daily performance.
• Generate sales reports, maintain inventory, and support Salon Director functions.
• Assist the Salon Director in controlling top line revenue and expenses.
• Maintain staffing levels to maximize productivity and customer service while controlling labor costs.
• Ability to work nights, Saturdays, and Sundays as needed for coverage.
• Work five days per week with a 40–45 hour schedule depending on status.
