SunTanCity in Knoxville, TN is seeking an Assistant Salon Director to lead daily salon operations, mentor tanning consultants, and drive client-centric service while maintaining a high-energy, welcoming environment. You will supervise staff, manage schedules, monitor performance, and help control costs, with opportunities for advancement and on-the-job training.

College education preferred but not required; management or sales experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage daily operations of the salon in a fast-paced environment.
• Lead by example in all company operations and meet personal sales expectations.
• Maintain a professional and impeccably clean salon environment.
• Establish clear goals and objectives for team members.
• Provide coaching, training, and feedback to improve performance.
• Generate sales reports, maintain inventory, and assist with other Salon Director functions.
• Assist the Salon Director in controlling top-line revenue and expenses.
• Help maintain proper staffing levels to ensure productivity and excellent customer service while controlling labor costs.
• Be available to work nights, Saturdays and Sundays as required for coverage.
• Have reliable transportation to get to the bank as needed.
• Candidates should expect to work five days per week with a 35–40 hour schedule.

JobSummary
