Woodford Bros., Inc. is seeking an Assistant Sales Manager to help lead our Sales Department. You will coach and develop our Design Specialists, run weekly team meetings and trainings, and track performance to help the team meet and exceed its sales goals.

Qualifications

• Two years of sales and/or sales management experience.
• Ability to coach, motivate and guide others, with direct, honest feedback while maintaining relationships.
• Strong communication and presentation skills in English.
• Knowledge of sales, marketing and customer service; construction knowledge is a plus.
• Comfort with computers and with tracking sales numbers and KPIs.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team; flexible to support the sales team as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach the Sales Department; ride-along and field support for Design Specialists.
• Run weekly team meetings and trainings; track performance to meet/exceed sales goals.
• Help recruit, onboard, and train new sales team members; resolve escalated customer issues.
• Lead the department when the Sales Manager is away.

Job Overview

We are currently seeking an Assistant Sales Manager to help lead our Sales Department and drive the success of our sales team. Working alongside our Sales Manager, you will coach and develop our Design Specialists through ride-along and field support, run weekly team meetings and trainings, and track performance to help the team meet and exceed its sales goals. You will also help recruit, onboard, and train new sales team members, resolve escalated customer issues, and lead the department when the Sales Manager is away. This is a full-time position averaging 50+ hours per week, and it's a great fit for a sales professional who is ready to develop and lead a winning team.

The Ideal Candidate Will Possess

• Two (2) years of sales and/or sales management experience, preferably in a manager or training role
• Ability to coach, motivate, and guide others, and to give direct, honest feedback while keeping relationships strong
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to speak, read, and write in English
• Knowledge of sales, marketing, and customer service; construction knowledge is a plus
• Comfort with computers and with tracking sales numbers and KPIs
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, and flexibility to support the sales team when they need you
• A commitment to giving customers a remarkable experience
• Valid driver's license, safe driving record, and the ability to drive for the company
