Scheduled Days: Saturday, Sunday, and Holidays observed by USPS on an as-needed basis. During onboarding, ARCs must be available for training on weekdays.

Driving Required: Applicants should have a valid state driver’s license, a safe driving record, and at least two years of unsupervised driving experience in passenger cars or larger vehicles in the U.S. or its territories, or in U.S. military installations worldwide. A personal vehicle suitable for use may be required.
Postal Service employment is contingent upon meeting medical, eligibility, and background check requirements. Offers are conditional upon meeting these criteria.
Salary Range: $20.38 per hour, paid bi-weekly
Using dynamic route descriptions, delivers packages on Sundays and observed holidays. May also case, deliver, and collect mail and packages on Saturdays along prescribed rural routes using a vehicle.
Prepares time records, ensures mail security, and may need to provide a vehicle if not assigned. Work is outdoors and indoors in all weather conditions. Carriers may need to lift and load trays and parcels weighing up to 70 pounds.
Desirable candidates should have a suitable vehicle and live within easy commuting distance of the facility. ARCs are non-career employees providing delivery and collection services along rural routes. If required to provide a personal vehicle, ARCs will receive an Equipment Maintenance Allowance (EMA).
