Scheduled Days:

Saturday, Sunday, and Holidays observed by USPS on an as-needed basis. During onboarding, ARCs must be available for training on weekdays.

Hours:

Varies.

Driving Required:

Applicants should have a valid state driver’s license, a safe driving record, and at least two years of unsupervised driving experience in passenger cars or larger vehicles in the U.S., its possessions, territories, or U.S. military installations worldwide. A personal vehicle may be required for this position.

Salary:

$20.38 per hour, paid bi-weekly.

Functional Purpose:

Using dynamic route descriptions, delivers packages on Sundays and observed holidays. May also case, deliver, and collect mail and packages on Saturday along a prescribed rural route using a vehicle.

Responsibilities include:

• Loading packages in delivery sequence.
• Delivering packages and mail to customers.
• Sorting mail for the route.
• Receiving and signing for accountable mail.
• Collecting monies and receipts for accountable mail.
• Picking up mail from roadside boxes.
• Providing routine postal information to customers.
• Returning undeliverable mail and submitting monies and receipts.
• Preparing time records and ensuring mail security.
• Providing a vehicle for delivery if not provided by the employer (may receive an Equipment Maintenance Allowance).

Work is outdoors and indoors in all weather conditions, with the possibility of lifting and loading mail and parcels weighing up to 70 pounds.
