Scheduled Days:

Saturday, Sunday, and Holidays observed by USPS on an as-needed basis. During onboarding, ARCs must be available for training on weekdays.

Driving Required:

Applicants should have a valid state driver’s license, a safe driving record, and at least two years of unsupervised driving experience in passenger cars or larger vehicles in the U.S. or its territories, or in U.S. military installations worldwide. A personal vehicle suitable for use may be required.

Salary Range:

$20.38 per hour, paid bi-weekly

Functional Purpose:

Deliver packages on Sundays and observed holidays using dynamic route descriptions. May also case, deliver, and collect mail and packages on Saturday along a prescribed rural route using a vehicle.

Responsibilities:
  1. Load packages in delivery sequence in the vehicle.
  2. Deliver packages to customers along a prescribed route.
  3. Sort mail in delivery sequence for the assigned route.
  4. Receive and sign for accountable mail.
  5. Load mail and packages in the vehicle.
  6. Deliver mail and packages, collect monies and receipts for accountable mail, and pick up mail from roadside boxes.
  7. Provide routine postal information to customers.
  8. Return collected mail, undeliverable mail, and submit monies and receipts to the post office.
  9. Prepare time records.
  10. Maintain mail security at all times.
  11. May need to provide a vehicle for delivery if not provided by the employer. Work is outdoors and indoors in all weather conditions, with some items weighing up to 70 pounds.

Desirable candidates may need to have a suitable vehicle and live within easy commuting distance of the facility. If providing your own vehicle, an Equipment Maintenance Allowance (EMA) is provided.
