Scheduled Days and Hours

• Days: Saturday, Sunday, and observed holidays (as needed).
• During onboarding, training is required on weekdays.
• Hours: Varies.

Driving Requirements

Applicants should have a valid state driver’s license, a safe driving record, and at least two years of unsupervised driving experience in passenger cars or larger vehicles in the U.S. or its territories, or in U.S. military installations worldwide. A personal vehicle may be required for this position.

Employment Conditions

Employment is conditional upon meeting medical, eligibility, and background check requirements. Offers are contingent upon these checks.

Salary

$20.38 per hour, paid bi-weekly.

Functional Purpose

Deliver packages on Sundays and observed holidays using dynamic route descriptions. May also case, deliver, and collect mail and packages on Saturday along a rural route.

Responsibilities

1. Load packages in delivery sequence in the vehicle.
2. Deliver packages and mail to customers along a prescribed route.
3. Sort mail in delivery sequence for the route.
4. Sign for accountable mail and receive monies and receipts.
5. Collect mail from roadside boxes and furnish routine postal information to customers.
6. Ensure mail security at all times.
7. May need to provide a personal vehicle for delivery if not provided by the employer. Work is outdoors and indoors in all weather conditions. Ability to lift and load trays and parcels weighing up to 70 pounds is required.

Additional Information

Ideal candidates may need to reside within easy commuting distance of the facility. ARCs are non-career employees providing delivery and collection services along rural routes. An Equipment Maintenance Allowance (EMA) is provided if you supply your own vehicle.
