Job summary

STGi is seeking an Assistant RN Manager in Sherman, TX to support the Clinic Manager and coordinate care for Veteran patients within the clinic. The role focuses on patient relations, performance excellence, and compliance with VA and STGi policies.

The assistant will help manage daily clinic operations and staff engagement to ensure high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate holds a TX RN license, 3+ years in Med-Surg/Outpatient/Primary Care, and supervisory experience, with CPR/BLS

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Med-Surg/Outpatient/Primary Care or Adult Health preferred.
• 1 year in supervisory/admin role preferred.
• Texas RN license required.
• CPR/BLS certification from AHA or MTN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Clinic Manager/Project Manager on daily operations and leadership tasks.
• Assist with mandatory reports, QC logs, metrics and data.
• Lead monthly staff meetings and daily huddles.
• Ensure compliance with STGi and VA policies, and prepare for inspections/surveys.
• Monitor patient flow, scheduling, access, wait times and patient satisfaction.
