Job summary

STGi is seeking an Assistant RN Manager to collaborate with the Clinic Manager in supporting the clinic's day-to-day operations and patient relations initiatives. The role emphasizes staff leadership, reporting, and ensuring compliance with VA and STGi policies.

The position requires Texas RN licensure, CPR/BLS, and prior supervisory experience; the successful candidate will manage patient flow, staff meetings, and quality metrics in a fast-paced clinic environment.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience in Medical Surgical Unit, Outpatient Facility, Primary Care and/or Adult Health preferred.
• One year supervisory or administrative experience preferred.
• Active Texas RN license.
• Current CPR/BLS from AHA or MTN.
• Knowledge of nursing principles, procedures, and techniques.
• Ability to assess patient condition and respond to emergencies.
• Detail-oriented and able to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clinic manager on duties and task delegation.
• Assist with mandatory reports, QC logs, metrics and data.
• Lead staff meetings and daily huddles.
• Ensure compliance with STGi and VA policies for CBOC operations.
• Monitor patient flow, scheduling, wait times, and patient satisfaction.
• Oversee validation of billable roster and timely submission to COR.
• Maintain infection control and patient confidentiality.
