Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Northeast Texas is seeking an Assistant Retail Store Manager to oversee daily store operations, assist with staffing, training, and scheduling, and uphold Goodwill's mission.

You will monitor donations, cash handling, inventory, and safety compliance, lead by example, and help drive customer service and store performance. The role includes 401k match, paid time off and holidays, and opportunities to grow within a values-driven nonprofit.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of management/supervisory experience in a retail setting preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer skills are required.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Physical Requirements:

• Able to bend, reach and stand for extensive periods of time and lift up to (40) forty pounds. May be required to lift heavier goods/items with the assistance of another team member.
• Able to perform tasks that require repetitive motion, i.e., tagging or hanging clothes. Manual dexterity is required.
