Job summary

Nordstrom is seeking an assistant manager who will lead and teach in a Manager in Training program. You’ll hire, train, and motivate a crew to deliver exceptional customer service while helping keep costs down and productivity up.

In Los Angeles-area restaurants you’ll be responsible for ensuring compliance with procedures and maintaining a fast-paced, guest-focused operation. A food handler’s card may be required by state regulations.

Qualifications

• Solid written and verbal communications skills.
• Basic accounting skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule.
• 2+ years full service, upscale restaurant management experience.
• A food handler’s card where required by local and state regulations

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, manage and motivate a crew to consistently serve up amazing customer service.
• Support the success of your unit by keeping customers happy, complying with company procedures and keeping productivity up and costs down.
• Complete a comprehensive Manager in Training program that covers all the ins and outs of running a successful unit
