J’s Restaurant at Horseshoe Bay Resort, managed by Crescent Hotels & Resorts, seeks an Assistant Restaurant Manager to lead daily operations across dining rooms, lounge, poolside service, and in‑room dining, ensuring seamless service and guest satisfaction.

The role emphasizes labor optimization, team development, safety compliance, and upholding the “Genuine Texas Hospitality” across all service points.

Qualifications

• Two years minimum experience in Food & Beverage; supervisory/management preferred in resort or high-volume setting.
• Valid TABC and Food Handler’s certificates required (ServSafe preferred).
• Must possess a valid driver’s license with insurable driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree valued.
• Proficiency in Word and Excel; Agilysys POS experience; 10-key calculator preferred.
• Highly developed problem-solving, sense of urgency, and professional appearance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations for J’s Restaurant, Lounge, Poolside service, and In-Room Dining.
• Lead short- and long-term planning for outlet operations including inventory management, ordering, and events.
• Monitor occupancy changes to adjust staffing; reduce payroll costs while increasing productivity.
• Conduct routine table checks and provide hands-on support during peak hours to ensure guest and member satisfaction.
• Coach and mentor supervisory staff, trainers, and hourly associates.
• Support staff training on food production, wine, and spirits service.
• Manage employee scheduling, inventory control, and production area setup.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment per OSHA Hazard Communication Standards.
• Liaise with Restaurant Manager and resort departments for cohesive guest experience.
