Scotty Browns Hawaii is seeking a full-time Assistant Manager to join a fun, hardworking team at our Poipu location. You’ll help lead service, train staff, and uphold brand standards in a vibrant, upscale–casual environment by the ocean.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of restaurant server or bartender experience.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and guest service.
• Strong office administration skills.
• Ability to train effectively and deliver great guest experience.
• A passion for food, beverages and the restaurant business.
• A positive, upbeat attitude.
• Team player mentality and a fantastic work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Take an active role in service during all operating hours.
• Uphold our commitment to quality in service and brand standards with ongoing staff training.
• Maintain/support the high standard of quality represented in our Food & Beverage programs.
• Coordinate and conduct pre-shift meetings.
• HR Management including hiring, training and performance management
• Maintain daily communication for Food, Wine, and Beverage details as they relate to service.
• Develop product knowledge through ongoing training, seminars, and tastings.
• Cost control management.
• Foster a work culture where staff development and a job well done are recognized.
• Develop and maintain regular clientele.
• Increase guest check average.
• Balance daily cash and meet labor targets.
