Wendy's is seeking an Assistant General Manager to help lead our New Orleans-area restaurant. You will oversee daily operations, drive sales and ensure exceptional customer service while developing your team in a fast-paced, family-friendly environment.

Qualifications

• Min 1 year Assistant Manager experience in a high-volume food service concept.
• Flexibility to work 50–55 hours per week, including weekends and holidays.
• Valid driver’s license in good standing (DL).
• Consent to background screening.
• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• Able to walk and stand for long periods; able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent problem solving and customer service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily restaurant operations under the General Manager’s guidance.
• Maintain day-to-day financial controls and budgeting basics.
• Create and manage staff schedules; interview, hire, and train team members.
• Coach, counsel, and develop staff; manage team relations.
• Ensure proper food handling, equipment maintenance, and facility standards.
• Support health and safety inspections and uphold brand standards.
• Set the tone for a fun, family environment in the restaurant.
