Job summary

Pinewood Country Club in Munds Park, AZ, part of Troon, seeks a full-time Assistant Restaurant Manager to lead daily restaurant, bar, and banquets operations and to coach a high-performing team.

You will ensure guest satisfaction, coordinate with culinary team, manage shifts, and support events while upholding safety and service standards. Benefits include healthcare, 401(k), PTO, and bonus opportunities.

Qualifications

• Previous supervision or management experience in food & beverage.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Must meet state age requirements for handling alcohol.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate daily restaurant, bar, and banquet operations with the Restaurant and Bar Manager.
• Supervise staff to ensure service is efficient, memorable, and clean.
• Maintain dining areas and bars; monitor equipment and report needs.
• Conduct pre-shift meetings to review specials and counts.
• Monitor operations and ensure food quality and service standards.
• Greet members and guests; address feedback promptly and professionally.
• Oversee daily activities including seating, serving, bussing, and cashier duties.
• Collaborate with culinary team on menu feedback and pairings.
• Assist in inventory and planning for events and staff recruitment/training.
