Qualifications

Due' Cucina Italiana is looking for an Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our team at our Roosevelt location at 1201 NE 65th Street, Seattle, WA 98115.

The Assistant Restaurant Manager assists the Restaurant Manager in leading the front and back of house teams and maintaining high standards of restaurant cleanliness, food quality, and facility management.

  • Competitive compensation, based on experience $30.76-$32.76/hour (base wage of $22.76-$24.76/hour plus an additional $8.00/hour in tips (approximated) for a combined wage range of $30.76-$32.76/hour).

In this role, the Assistant Restaurant Manager will:

  • Directly supervise the restaurant employees when the Restaurant Manager is unavailable.
  • Manage operations in the front and back of house with a high concentration on profitability, safety, sanitation, and sales growth.
  • Ensure proper execution of and compliance with Company policies and procedures on assigned shifts.
  • Anticipate and identify problems and initiate appropriate corrective action.
  • Provide proper training through established systems and follow through to ensure compliance with Company Standards.
  • Create a positive working environment by fostering teamwork through effective training, communication, and relationship building.
  • Reinforce customer service mentality. Respond to guest complaints, immediately and respectfully.
  • Communicate and coordinate with the BOH shift leaders, to resolve any problems when the RM is not available.
  • Monitor food quality making sure it meets company standards.
  • Have knowledge of and be able to perform all FOH and BOH positions in order to help the team when necessary.
  • Maintain the FOH in a clean and organized manner.
  • Perform inventory tasks when needed.

Requirements

Experience: Prior experience as restaurant assistant manager, general manager, supervisor, shift lead, crew lead, team lead is highly desirable. 2 years’ experience in a high volume restaurant environment required.

  • Ability to stand continuously throughout an 8-hour shift.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Comfortable bending, reaching, and moving quickly.
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Scheduling flexibility.
