We have an exciting opportunity for a Smith Cove Assistant Restaurant Manager at Seattle Tacoma International Airport (SEA), one of the largest airports in the U.S. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and are ready for a challenging and rewarding role, we want to hear from you!

What You'll Do:
  • Manage All Front of House and Kitchen Activities: Supervise and evaluate team members, ensure tasks are completed properly, and provide feedback, including disciplinary actions.
  • Focus on Food Quality: Ensure adherence to food quality standards, recipes, portion control, and compliance with safety specifications.
  • Cost Control: Maximize profitability by optimizing food and labor costs.
  • Lead and Develop Team: Recruit, train, and communicate with team members, set daily goals, and maintain service standards.
  • Systems and Processes: Ensure compliance with company policies, health, and sanitation standards.
  • Merchandising and Displays: Maintain presentation standards and monitor inventory.
  • Office Management: Oversee funds, media, inventory, purchasing, scheduling, and payroll.
  • Forecasting and Budgeting: Monitor sales performance through reports and market analysis.
  • Problem Solving: Address routine issues and escalate complex problems appropriately.
What We're Looking For:
  • Educational Background: High School Diploma or equivalent; associate's degree preferred.
  • Experience: 2+ years in restaurant/food service management or supervision.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with full-service restaurant management, culinary background desirable, proficiency in MS Office and POS systems.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Ability to interact effectively at all levels, resolve conflicts, and handle sensitive situations.
