Job summary

The Stand Restaurants in Rancho Santa Margarita is seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager to own a shift and help develop a team while growing toward a General Manager role. The position covers front-of-house, kitchen, and guest interactions to maintain exceptional service.

You’ll lead daily operations, ensure cleanliness and brand standards, and drive guest satisfaction. We promote from within across 22 locations and offer comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of restaurant management or AGM experience.
• Strong communicator who leads by example on the floor.
• Someone who takes ownership, not someone who waits to be told what to do.
• 21+ years old, full-time availability including weekends.

The Stand has grown to 22 locations across California and Texas, and we're not slowing down. We're looking for an Assistant Restaurant Manager who's ready to own a shift, help develop a team, and grow into a General Manager role.

What You'll Own as an Assistant Restaurant Manager

• Shift leadership and a true point person, front of house, kitchen and guests
• Team development: training and coaching

• Total Restaurant awareness — you'll understand how your shift impacts the stores success

What We're Looking For: an Assistant Restaurant Manager

• 1+ year of restaurant management or AGM experience

Compensation & Benefits:

• Tip pool (~$5–7/hr average) + performance bonus
• $27.00 - $29.00 per hour
