CEC Entertainment, LLC is seeking an Assistant Manager to help lead a team at Chuck E. Cheese. You will drive guest satisfaction, coach staff, and manage scheduling, operations, and cost controls to ensure performance and safety.

Responsibilities include recruiting and developing teammates, maximizing sales, and maintaining a welcoming, clean environment across areas like Kitchen, Showroom, and Gameroom. 40-hour weeks and state-specific rules apply.

Assistant Manager – Chuck E. Cheese

Compensation

Commission potential varies by employment classification. Commissions for Exempt employees: $0.50 to $10.00 per Membership sold and $0.15 to $3.00 per Fun Pass sold. Commissions for Non‑Exempt employees: $2.00 to $8.00 per Membership sold and $0.60 to $2.40 per Fun Pass sold. Payments are issued bi‑weekly (unless state law requires otherwise).

Responsibilities
  • Make daily decisions involving time management, staff scheduling, cleanliness, and upholding product and guest service standards.
  • Build sales and maximize profits by recruiting, training, developing, and motivating the team to meet company and guest expectations.
  • Coach and inspire the team to deliver outstanding guest service and ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment.
  • Understand cost control procedures, inventory, financials, and labor management.
  • Take ownership of an Area of Impact (AOI) in one of four key areas and rotate through each area over time:
    • The Kitchen – manage product ordering, food safety, scheduling, and cleanliness. Oversee pizza dough preparation, cooking of menu items, and sanitation.
    • Sales – supervise the Cashier, Salad Bar, and Gift Shop, monitor sales results, upselling, and inventory.
    • Showroom – lead birthday party execution and planning, maximize bookings, and optimize seating.
    • Gameroom – collaborate with the Technical Manager to keep games and equipment in top condition with minimal downtime, analyze game play data, and keep areas clean.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Must be able to work 40 hours a week.
  • Must have a high‑school diploma or GED.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age or older (RVP approval may allow hiring at the age permitted by local law for selling, ringing up, checking identification, and serving alcohol).
  • Minimum of one year of experience managing people, preferably in the food service industry, or experience as an Opening Coordinator for at least six months.
Work Environment & Physical Demands

Must be able to lift or carry objects weighing 0–50 pounds, stand, bend, kneel, reach, push/pull, walk, and squat during shifts. The environment includes flashing and flickering lights, moving mechanical parts, loud noise, and exposure to non‑weather related wet, humid, extreme heat, and extreme cold conditions.
